You were meant to live a big life, full of joy, abundance, optimal health. You were meant to live a fulfilling life, a magical life, believe it!
Have you been witness to every day miracles, synchronicities, magical moments that left you feeling in awe, in wonder? What about when you were a child. Did you believe in ferries, magic, angels? Do you have a memory as a little girl of a time when you witnessed or you believed something to be magical? What was it? How did you feel?
I believed that the moon spoke to me and sent me messages while I slept, that beams of light guided me to safety, that lightening was the angels reminding me they were there. I felt as though the moon was my friend I could confide in and write poems about. The lightening was my comfort because I truly believed that each flash was an angel, letting me know she was there to keep me strong and guide me through hard days, angels, reminding me that they were there for me.
Isn’t a firefly proof that magic exists?
Seeing the beauty in every day living that brings us joy and delight, visioning our life and creating everyday magic is what I want to explore with you this month.
here are some simple ways that you can invite everyday magic into your life…
BE OPEN - try your best to open your heart and mind and let in room to believe in miracles and everyday magic. Be open to the fact that everything has energy, that anything is possible. Energy flows where your attention goes.
PLAY - remember to practice being child like. Revisit a hobby or activity that you loved as a child.
SEE BEAUTY IN YOUR SURROUNDINGS - take it all in and try to see beauty in the wonder that is your life. When you look at life as a sacred journey, that all experiences have a lesson and a gift, we can allow that fact to uplift our spirits.
RITUAL - engaging in rituals allows us to honor ourselves and our beliefs, celebrate and amplify our experience. Turn something in your life into a ritual, a time for honouring yourself, and let the magic seep in. It could start as simple as a Sunday evening bath, with an essential oil added, a candle lit, an intention set for your week.
BE CREATIVE - tapping into your creative side always activates your energy. When your hands and your heart are working together, many magical moments happen.
BE IN NATURE - there is magic in nature, everyday. A rainbow, a firefly, flora, fauna. Look around you, be amazed, be open, be energized by nature, be open to receiving magical moments.
DAYDREAM - slow down, be with your dreams, allow your mind to wander to beautiful places. Then let the daydream get bigger. Sit with the expansion of it.

May the Magic be with you!
Your conscious mind commands and your subconscious mind obeys. Let that sink in for a moment.
Benjamin Hardy writes, “what happens on your subconscious level influences what happens on your conscious level. In other words, what goes on internally, even unconsciously, eventually becomes your reality”.
That’s pretty powerful considering 95% of our thoughts are subconscious.
One of my favourite things to do, I teach a workshop on doing it, is creating a vision book. Not a vision board, but a vision book. Why a book you may ask. Well I like for you to be able to take it with you, keep it beside your bed, add to it. I want you to see it, visualize it, get involved in it every night. You’ll begin to see that you will access your subconscious and you’ll start to see coincidences that prove all of this to be true! The last 45 minutes before bed is a very important time for manifesting your dreams so that you can create not just magic every day, but a life that you LOVE!
Below, you will see me create a page of my very own vision book!
The Magic of Words
I believe in the magic of the written word. I love how they weave together, tell a story. Just one word after the other, and a story is formed, a quote, a sentence, an essay, a book. With those words, you can be crushed, or inspired, uplifted, brought to tears, healed.
I believe that words can change the world, a poem, a speech, a song. Words can change a relationship, with a simple “I’m sorry” or “I hear you, I understand”. History can be changed, think Martin Luther King, “Free at last, free at last, Thank God almighty, we are free at last!” or “in the end we will remember, not the words of our enemies, but the silence of out friends.”
Well, while I realize we are not all writers and poets, I would LOVE for you to give something a try! FOUND poetry. I want you to rip a few pages out of your old book that we are art journaling in, and find words that are random, intuitive, and weave them together. They need only to make sense to you! Watch the video below, and give it a go!
